How to follow the route

You're never alone on a Trek26. You'll be surrounded by your fellow trekkers, and our fantastic route team are never far away. They'll be out on the route, along with our medics should you need any help, a chat or a friendly face!

We also pop the event control number on your trekking number so you can always contact the team if you need to.

Our Trek26 routes are easy to follow. They're marked with bright arrows and mile markers, so there’s no chance of getting lost! You'll often see these pinned on gates, fences and trees, particularly anywhere there is a change of direction or an unclear path. We will also have staff out on the route who can help guide you.

What3Words

Our Trek26 routes often take us off the beaten track into beautiful, serene locations. Sometimes, these can be tricky to find. What3Words is a free tool that helps you navigate anywhere in the world. It gives every 3m square of land a unique 3 word code. You'll find these codes in your event pack. We highly recommend visiting the site or downloading the app ready for your Trek26 event day.
