It's important to keep fuelled up, so we provide breakfast and hot drinks in the morning before your trek. Our shuttle bus will drop you at the event hub 30 minutes before your start time. You can then grab breakfast, nip to the toilet, and listen to the short safety briefing before setting off.
Want to look the part at Trek26? Make sure you head over to our merchandise tent located in the event hub for your Trek26 kit. We'll be open in the morning before you set off and in the afternoon once you've finished trekking. We have a range of items including water bottles, hoodies, caps, beanies and much more! Our merchandise stand takes cash and card payments.
Can't wait until the day? Check out our range of branded products available on our online shop!

Our Forget-Me-Not Garden is a place of reflection for you, located in the centre of your event hub. This space is for everyone, whether you’re walking for yourself, a loved one, or to support those affected by dementia. You can take this moment to relax, write a message, or read messages from other participants.
Your lunch stop will be around the halfway point on your route. There'll be a selection of lunch options, snacks, hot drinks, a water refill station and toilets. If you've informed us of your dietary requirements in your registration form, then these will be catered for. If anything has changed please get in touch by emailing events@alzheimers.org.uk.

The 26 mile route has two rest stops, as well as your midway lunch stop, one will be before and one after lunch. There'll be a selection of snacks, hot drinks and water refill stations available. Our staff and volunteers will also be on hand to support and motivate you through the next section of your trek. All our rest stops will have toilets available.
The 13 mile route will just have the lunch stop as mentioned above.
You're never alone on a Trek26. You'll be surrounded by your fellow trekkers, and our fantastic route team are never far away. They'll be out on the route, along with our medics should you need any help, a chat or a friendly face!
We also pop the event control number on your trekking number so you can always contact the team if you need to.
Our Trek26 routes are easy to follow. They're marked with bright arrows and mile markers, so there’s no chance of getting lost! You'll often see these pinned on gates, fences and trees, particularly anywhere there is a change of direction or an unclear path. We will also have staff out on the route who can help guide you.
Our Trek26 routes often take us off the beaten track into beautiful, serene locations. Sometimes, these can be tricky to find. What3Words is a free tool that helps you navigate anywhere in the world. It gives every 3m square of land a unique three word code. You'll find these codes in your event pack. We highly recommend visiting the site or downloading the app ready for your Trek26 event day.
